At Pontius Tax Law, PLLC we believe it’s important to support and to be involved in our community. A community is stronger when we have one another to lean on. That is why John Pontius has donated to a handful of schools and organizations that have positively impacted his life. He hopes to help make a difference in the lives of those who attend these institutions after he did and to make their experiences even better than his own positive experience.

Volunteer for Vets Scholarship

Mr. Pontius began practicing law in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in Germany and was deployed to Iraq. Due to this, he believes Veterans are owed a huge debt for the service they do for our country. We are looking to hear from Veterans, or individuals who are close with a veteran, about why they deserve to be recognized for their service. You can learn more about this $1,000 scholarship opportunity here.

Some of the places John Pontius has donated to include:

  • Landon School
  • Gettysburg College
  • Widener University Commonwealth Law School
  • Georgetown University Law Center

We were seeking tax advice with managing two properties, LLC, as well as some future financial planning. John responded to my call in a timely manner and was happy to answer our questions while referring us to specialists who can manage our accounts on a more regular basis.
