The dinner is one of the Taxation Section’s premier annual events. The dinner brings together tax attorneys and other professionals from all over Maryland to honor outstanding members of the profession, nurture meaningful connections, and celebrate the legacy of Irving Shulbank.
At the event, Robb Longman, Esq., was presented with the J. Ronald Shiff Memorial Pro Bono Award, and David Polashuk, Esq., was presented with the 2026 Tax Excellence Award for their extraordinary service to the tax law community. Keynote speaker Daniel I. Werfel, former commissioner of internal revenue, also provided attendees with valuable insights into current issues facing the tax profession.
