From 2019-2020 Mr. Pontius served as the Co-Chair for the monthly Tax Practice and Procedure Round Table for the Section on Taxation of the Federal Bar Association. Speakers included senior officials from the IRS and Department of Justice Tax Division as well as leading tax attorneys. From 2012-2019, Mr. Pontius served as the Co-Chair of the Tax Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County Maryland. Mr. Pontius wrote articles for the newsletter on recent tax developments.
